Housework
Why am I the only one who can do housework?? Asked Paul to do some washing and to tidy the kitchen today. He has wshed up a bit, not all of it mind you just some of it. Kitchen is still a mess and no washing has been done, the stuff in the basket that needed drying is still in the basket. And he wonders why I get angry. He said he has not had time because he was playing with James. So he did not have 5 minutes to put the clothes on the clothes horse. Or 10 minutes to sort the kitchen out. I am not sure how much more of this I can take.

Slimming World
Right made the decision.... I am going back to slimming world. Only stopped because of my operation, but now put on 11lb of the weight I lost last year. So started to read through my books again, planned menus for next week and been shopping. Now I just need to stick to it and try to find my willpower again. Really need to do this, need to lose at least 2 stone. But my main aim is to get down to a size 14. Think that might take a while but I am determined to do this. I am sure it will improve my health.
So here goes, starting in the morning.
So here goes, starting in the morning.
2012 - new year, new start
Well have decided i am going to blog this year. Last year was such a nightmare so I am really hoping ths one is better.
Got to start the year by counting my blessings...... what do I have??
I have my 2 gorgeous boys - they are my life and without them all else would be pointless. Sometimes I take them for granted and forget to appriciate how wonderful they are.
I also have a husband who loves me - ok so he is far from perfect, he drives me nuts with his lack of consideration and his inability to tidy up after himself, but he loves me and this year I need to remember that more often.
I would love to say I have my health, but that one is still debatable - after all the stresses of last year, hysterectomy, with all that went wrong, then cystectomy, again not straight forward, being diagnosed with fybromyalgia, thought this year would be my year to feel better, but looks like we need to wait a while longer to see for sure. After appointment with consultant just before Christmas looks like we need to wait til April to find out for sure if I need another operation. I do feel better than I did but every time I get a pain in my stomach I cant help myself thinking.... well this is it... major surgery for me.
Another blessing is my family - so supportive, would not have got through last year without them. Love them all so much.
My job - what can I say I love my job. Not many people can say that can they. It is the gratest feeling knowing that the students I help would find school so much more difficult without me, some of them failing in the system if I was not there to guide them.
I have a roof over my head - I am so lucky to have a place to call home, where the people I love are all together. Sometimes it gets me down, would love it to be like a show home, but I live with 3 men, 1 who is 2 and another almost a teenager, not sure I stand a chance of living in a show home, but I can but hope...... you never know, one day they might surprize me and actually tidy up after themselves!!!
Well thats me for today, got to get the christmas decorations put away, rest of the housework to do, then shopping before I go back to work after the holidays.
